Interfaces

Some of the product functions are implemented through interfaces (calling external programs or databases). These functions are available in the Download Version, if you make the appropriate configurations and integrate the necessary sources. Additional information is available at the Installation Guide below. The following features are affected: - displaying registration data associated with the IP address of visitors - preview function with spell checking during chat sessions, user dictionary - detect visitor locations (city and region) It is even possible to integrate yalst into other web services, such as CMS, shop-systems or webhosting customer user interfaces. Therefor, an option was added that allows logging into the yalst configuration area through external database authentification, bypassing the usual login window. In this mode, no header area or navigation section is displayed. That way, the configuration area can be integrated using <frame> or <iframe> elements.
